Angel is a concept car inspired by the fairy angels at a minimal and very pure design manner. Peugeot Angel is specially designed for city use that will give the users an unbelievable driving experience. This concept car has a futuristic look with a little bit of retro charm.

All the front wheels have a standard car like look but the rear wheels are functioning on idea of circulation of opposite magnetic fields and this movement actually develops magnetic field that aloes this superb car to be levitated in its back. With this process the Angel car is lighter than traditional cars and requires less power to perform smooth drive.

Peugeot SR1 Concept

Peugeot is signalling a fresh design direction with this brave new SR1 concept car. And if it doesn’t look like a Peugeot, that’s deliberate. It’s all change at Peugeot, tacit admission that its design has erred in recent years. Until now, they claim.

The new Peugeot SR1 is a 2+1 concept car – a roadster with overtones of Aston Martin’s V8 Vantage. Seriously! The snout and body surfacing is remarkably like Aston’s triumvirate. And who’d have thought we’d be saying that about a humble Peugeot?

Peugeot SR1 concept car: what’s the point?

This is no show car today, real car tomorrow. Okay, it could influence a future 407 Coupé successor, hint the design chiefs, but that’s not this car’s intent. It’s all about drawing a line in the sand for Peugeot design. And that’s fine by us. We’ve been fierce critics of dull Peugeots for years and can’t remember the last time we got so revved up by a Pug. Excluding perhaps the soon-to-be-launched RCZ coupé.

So read this car and note a few key pointers. The front end is realistic and will influence future Peugeots ‘within two years’, new design director Gilles Vidal told CAR Online. Those narrower headlamps, that smaller, recessed grille – they’re all coming. Thank goodness; we’re no fans of the gaping shark’s gob adorning the front of most Pugs. The roaring lion is redrawn, too.

Take note also of the metalwork. Vidal talks a good game about how Peugeots are going to appear lighter, nimbler, more elegant. He is keen on sculpting away from the body surface, so those scoops appear to be gouged from the bodywork – implying lightness, taking away, rather than adding heft and bulk.

What’s under the pretty body?

The SR1 is a petrol-electric hybrid, showcasing the 218bhp 1.6-litre turbo up front twinned to a 95bhp electric motor turning the rear wheels.

This Hybrid4 system is coming to production Peugeots in 2011 on the 3008, but here it’s used to turn Peugeot’s design statement into a sporty roadster. It can operate in zero-emissions mode around town – in RWD – and yet the average figures tumble to 119g/km and 58mpg.

Perhaps the best bit of the SR1 is its interior. A pair of front seats provide accommodation for adults, and a single rear seat is centrally mounted. The front armrest slides back and forth to allow space for the rear passenger’s feet.

And there’s a neat attention to detail to the finishes inside. Leather, aluminium and ‘black nickel’ provide strokeability, clever dials appear to accelerate towards the horizon when you accelerate, and there’s a solid wooden gunwale ringing the cabin. All very lovely, but less production bound than the exterior.

The 206 CC, presented in 1998 as the Concept 20 ♥ has been very successful in providing for the first time in its segment, an electrically retractable hardtop. With the launch of the 207, Peugeot teams have naturally thought of a CC version for this new range, bringing all their know-how on “pleasure silhouette.

This concept car, 207 EPISTLE this one hand the features of the future 207 CC Series, but also a technology demonstrator: in fact, the 207 Epure is equipped with an electric motor powered by a battery fuel. The spirit of fun and freedom found driving a convertible takes its full meaning: the total absence of polluting emissions and silence reigning in its use, the driver, but his car are then truly at one with their environment. Pleasure and ecology are a brand.

Fuel Cell (PAC)

The benefits of fuel cell to its environment are numerous:

offer an alternative to fossil fuels

contribute to reducing CO2 emissions and thus to control the greenhouse

improve the quality of city life, through quiet running vehicles using an electric motor and the elimination of local emissions

This technology still faces many technical and economic challenges before considering the mass production. PSA Peugeot Citroën has initiated a research to explore different solutions. This work in turn led to the realization of several demonstrators, such as the Taxi PAC, H 2 0, or more recently the Quark.

Technological content of the 207 EPISTLE: the “GENEPAC 20″

The 207 Epure receives for the first time on a demonstrator, the fuel cell GENEPAC. Combining simplicity and modularity, this French-designed battery is designed to be compact and efficient. The principle of this new technology stack PEMFC (Proton Exchange Membrane Fuel Cell) is based on the use of thin stainless steel stampings, to reduce the cost and volume of the stack compared to conventional plates.

This system also allows easy declining power of the battery. Thus, the battery used on this demonstrator, called “GENEPAC 20″ version is a 20 kW system GENEPAC. Specifically, “GENEPAC 20″ consists of two modules each comprising a stack of thin plates and membrane electrode assembly. The fuel cell system thus provides a performance level above 50% against 25 to 30% for a heat engine.

Five bottles containing together 3 kg of hydrogen compressed to 700 bar. They bring together the electric motor and battery type lithium-ion “maximum energy and autonomy. They are located at the bottom of the trunk of the vehicle, saving the 2 rear seat allows operation of the retractable roof mechanism and leaves part of the safe usable position cut.

Using an electric motor allows the 207 EPISTLE not use energy unless it is in motion and to recover when decelerating. It also makes this demonstrator silent, an important quality for a vehicle in town and very valuable for a driving gig.

These technologies allow the CAP 207 Epure achieve autonomy consistent (approximately 350 km) while offering a pleasing level of performance with a maximum speed of 130 km / h.

Helping to maintain clean air by not rejecting only water, 207 of this future is well suited to use urban and suburban … For “pure sensations”, new and ever more intense!

Designed by Roman Mistiuk, the Peugeot Metromorph Concept looks like a set piece from Minority Report or the discarded idea for a new Transformers character. That’s because the Metromorph has dual modes: One as a battery-powered electric vehicle and the other as… a balcony. Cars that climb up buildings and park themselves right outside your bay window were first seen in the sci-fi thriller Minority Report starring Tom Cruise. The Metromorph, however, has a purpose other than as a landing platform for Tom Cruise during a chase scene.

The idea is that real estate for parking will be scarce in the future, so the Metromorph will go vertical up the side of your building and park outside your apartment, at which point it becomes a balcony.

This is where the Transformers bit comes in, though we admit transforming into a balcony isn’t likely to scare Megatron into a quivering mass of mechanized steel. Nevertheless, the Metromorph will save the humans by freeing up parking spaces for other uses, like a quidditch stadium or whatever else becomes the national past time in the future.

With space for two, the Metromorph features seats held by rotating arms to keep them vertical regardless of the car’s orientation.

Two in-wheel electric motors housed in the rear wheels motivate this balcony-on-wheels, while two giant doors will slide up and over the vehicle to allow entry and exit. Is this what the future holds for urban dwellers? Time, and the movies, will tell.
